Store Policies
We want to make your shopping experience with us as easy, relaxed and informative as possible. Therefore, communicating to you information about our policies and procedures is important to us! Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions about this communication.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
All sales require a 20% down payment to secure the sale as we reserve our stock for you. Westrich's accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, as well as, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We are happy to offer to you special financing with the Westrich Credit Card through two different banks (requires credit approval). Cash, personal checks, money orders, and Westrich Gift Cards also accepted. In the age of increasing credit card fees, Westrich's DOES NOT pass these along to you or add them to the product price. Therefore, we do not offer cash discounts.
ON DISPLAY 'STOCKED' MERCHANDISE
An item displayed in our showroom.
An item displayed in our showroom but may need to be backordered due to being oversold and not in our warehouse temporarily.
Select items in warehouse, but on display in a different color. (Some styles we will display one color and have other options in warehouse)
When stocked merchandise is not available in our warehouse, we can not guarantee delivery dates. We will do our best to give you an approximate shipment date, but the production times vary by style, model, fabric and manufacturer. If stock merchandise is available, it must be set for a delivery date or a time you will pick up within 30 days of sale or a layaway plan needs to be discussed with your salesperson. (see layaway policy)
CUSTOM ORDER or 'SPECIAL ORDER' MERCHANDISE
An item not displayed in our showroom.
An item displayed in our showroom but in a different color, size, or finish not in warehouse.
An item not stocked in our warehouse.
A stocked item no longer in the warehouse and discontinued by Westrich's but still produced by the manufacturer and can be re-ordered.
Special orders can not be cancelled or returned, and a deposit of 50% down is required and nonrefundable. (If being financed we require 20% down) Production and shipping times vary with each manufacturer. We will do our best to give you our estimated shipping times based on history, but we cannot guarantee any delivery dates on special orders. If you have a deadline for your furniture to be delivered, we urge you to purchase merchandise we have on display. Once the special order has been place with the manufacturer, it can not be canceled, returned or exchanged under any circumstances.
A signature will be required stating that you understand this policy. The sales order will be audited for accuracy and pricing. We reserve the right to make adjustments in style, fabric or price if needed and you will be contacted for approval before your order is placed.
Once your special order arrives, we will inform you of the arrival and set it with a delivery or pick up date within 30 days or fees may incur. If for any reason you fail to take delivery of your special order merchandise, it will result in a full loss of deposit and payments made.
AS-IS, CLOSEOUT & DISCONTINUED MERCHANDISE (GREEN TAGGED)
As-is, closeout & discontinued merchandise is priced on a green tag and can not be returned or cancelled. In some cases, the merchandise is cash and carry only.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations prior to delivery are subject to restocking fees up to 20% of the merchandise. If reselecting a different item, the restocking fee may be reduced or eliminated.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Special orders are not subject to return or exchange. We have free delivery, but we do not have free pick up and therefore may also be subject to a pick up fee. The pick up of the merchandise will be on the day of the week our trucks are in the area. (see delivery information) If the customer returns the merchandise to the store, there will be no pick up fee. In the event that our delivery staff can not get the merchandise into the home due to size, it will also be subject to a restocking fee. We make every effort to get the merchandise into your home including removing doors. But if the staff is not comfortable with trying, they will request a waiver be signed releasing us of damages. There is not a formula that will guarantee a piece of furniture will fit through a doorway. There are too many factors to determine if it will or not.
If the customer should reselect or exchange the product for the same or different merchandise, the restocking fee will be adjusted or waived. The exact charge will be determined by management.
An item being returned from originally picking up from the store must be in the original package / box undamaged to be eligible for refund.
Any return or exchange resulting in a refund is subject to inspection by the Westrich service/repair department to ensure the merchandise is in it's original condition. If originally paid by check, there will be a 20 day clearing period prior to the refund.
LAYAWAYS
Westrich's offers free layaway for a limited period. A 20% down payment is required, as well as, a monthly payment until delivery. If a layaway is canceled, you will forfeit your down payment.
We also require you to give us a 15 day period of approximately when you will be ready to take delivery. We ask you to give us either early or late part of a specific month. (ex. Late March)
DELAYS
Westrich's is not responsible for delays from the manufacturer on backordered products. We do our best to give you an approximate time frame, but delays can happen for many different reasons that are not under our control. Westrich's will not compensate for delays in transportation, fabric shortages, production or any other manufacturer issues. If/when we are notified of a delay, we will communicate that with you to the best of our ability. If our approximate time frame is not met, it does not give the customer the right to cancel unless authorized by management.
PICTURES, LIGHTING & ACCESSORIES
When smaller items are purchased, we urge you to take them with you at time of purchase so they do not have to be handled with the larger items on a delivery truck. It will be required that they are paid for in full at the time of purchase.
